Avantium N.V., a chemical technology firm based in the Netherlands, is dedicated to innovating and commercializing sustainable chemistry solutions. The company's operations are divided into three core segments: Avantium Catalysis, Avantium Renewable Chemistries, and Avantium Renewable Polymers. Avantium also offers catalyst testing systems, including the Flowrence platform for evaluating catalysts and adsorbents. Its services extend to providing R&D systems, various support services, and refinery catalyst testing. Moreover, the company is developing "Ray" technology to produce mono-ethylene glycol (MEG) from industrial sugars and "Dawn" technology, which converts non-food plant biomass into industrial sugars and lignin. Additionally, Avantium produces polyesters using plantMEG. The company was founded in 2000 and has its headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
