Profile

Operating through its numerous subsidiaries, ERG S.p.A. is an energy company primarily dedicated to generating power from renewable resources. Its geographical footprint extends across Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania. The firm produces electricity from a range of sources, encompassing wind, solar, and hydroelectric power stations, in addition to thermoelectric and natural gas cogeneration facilities. On December 31, 2021, the company's installed capacities were recorded as follows: 2,198 MW for wind, 220 MW for solar, 527 MW for hydroelectric, and 480 MW for thermoelectric power. Established in 1938, ERG S.p.A. has its corporate headquarters in Genoa, Italy, and functions as a subsidiary of San Quirico S.p.A.
