Profile

Sberbank of Russia, along with its affiliated entities, delivers a broad spectrum of retail and corporate banking solutions to a diverse clientele including private individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporations, and financial institutions. Its offerings encompass savings accounts, pension schemes, payment processing, money transfers, investment brokerage, and wealth management. The bank extends various credit facilities such as auto, home, education, and personal loans, in addition to mortgage financing. Customers can also access debit and credit cards, overdraft options, and refinancing solutions. Furthermore, Sberbank deals in sophisticated financial instruments, including derivatives, foreign exchange, precious metals, structured corporate products, commodities, and securities. It also facilitates debt and capital market funding, documentary services, and other commission-based operations. A significant part of its portfolio includes a wide array of insurance products, covering life, property, bank card protection, accident, liability, trust management, investment and universal life, and travel. The institution also manages mutual investment funds and administers individual and corporate pension programs. For small businesses, Sberbank provides dedicated business bank accounts, a specialized platform for international trade (exporters and importers), merchant acquiring services, and corporate cards. Corporate clients benefit from customized loans, diverse investment products, capital market access, fund investment services, and general banking support. Financial institutions receive specialized services such as trade finance, interbank lending, currency risk hedging, treasury management, deposit accounts, custody services, electronic trading systems, and efficient settlement and cash collection. As of December 31, 2020, Sberbank maintained an extensive domestic presence with 11 regional banks and 14,162 branches across Russia. Beyond its home market, the company also conducts operations in 18 other nations. Established in 1841, Sberbank of Russia is headquartered in Moscow.
