CPFL Energia S.A. is a leading Brazilian power utility involved in the entire electricity value chain: generating, transmitting, distributing, and selling power to homes, businesses, and industrial clients across the country. The company produces electricity using diverse renewable sources, including wind, biomass, solar, and hydroelectric power plants. As of the end of 2021, CPFL Energia's vast network catered to approximately 10.2 million consumers, featuring 336,053 kilometers of distribution lines, 498,155 distribution transformers, and 565 high-to-medium voltage transformer substations with a combined capacity of 19,178 MVA. Its total installed generation capacity amounts to 4,385 megawatts. Established in 1998 and based in Campinas, Brazil, CPFL Energia S.A. operates as a subsidiary of State Grid Brazil Power Participações S.A.
