Established in 2008 and headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) conducts its operations across a broad international scope, including Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. The company's core business involves the full spectrum of industrial activities, from the development and construction to the ongoing operation, management, and maintenance of petrochemical plants, gas and petroleum facilities, and other related industrial ventures. NPC's diverse product offerings include high-density polyethylene (HDPE), versatile for applications like film, fiber, blow molding, injection molding, pipe and conduit manufacturing, rotomolding, and various other extrusion processes. It also supplies polypropylene (PP) for disposable cutlery and sheet extrusion/thermoforming, such as soda straws; polystyrene (PS) for single-use packaging and housings for electronic devices; and hexene-1, a vital comonomer used in polyethylene production. Beyond manufacturing, the company also participates in the wholesale and retail trade of raw materials, petrochemical goods, and their by-products. Since April 11, 2022, National Petrochemical Company has functioned as a subsidiary of the Saudi Industrial Investment Group.
