Profile
Rakon Limited, together with its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and sells frequency control and timing solutions for various applications in Asia, North America, Europe, and internationally. The company provides crystal resonators, such as tuning fork crystals, space crystals, and standard SMD crystals; and oven-controlled crystal oscillators, oven-controlled surface acoustic wave (SAW) oscillators, SAW resonators, temperature compensated crystal oscillators, ultra stable oscillators, ultra stable temperature compensated crystal oscillators, voltage-controlled crystal oscillators, and voltage controlled and voltage-controlled saw oscillators. It also offers a range of crystal filters, including industry grade and Hi-Rel grade crystal filters. In addition, the company provides master reference oscillators, crystal micro-electro-mechanical systems, subsystems, transceivers, phase locked oscillators, subsystems, digital pulse compression subsystems, and frequency multipliers. Additionally, it is involved in the provision of financing and marketing support services; and research and development activities. The company’s products are used in telecommunications, space, defence, positioning, automotive, Internet of Things, and automation and control applications. Rakon Limited was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand.
