Hecla Mining Company, along with its subsidiaries, actively explores, procures, develops, and extracts both precious and base metal deposits across the United States and globally. The firm produces silver, gold, lead, and zinc in concentrate forms, alongside carbon materials and doré, both rich in silver and gold. These products are supplied to custom smelters, metal merchants, and external processing facilities. Hecla holds full ownership of several significant mining operations, including Alaska's Greens Creek mine on Admiralty Island; the Lucky Friday mine situated in northern Idaho; the Casa Berardi mine in Quebec, Canada; and the San Sebastian mine in Durango, Mexico. Additionally, the company entirely controls the Fire Creek mine in Lander County, Nevada, as well as the Hollister and Midas mines, both located in Elko County, Nevada. Established in 1891, Hecla Mining Company maintains its corporate headquarters in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
