Atul Ltd is an international enterprise engaged in the production and commercialization of a wide array of chemical and allied goods. Its business activities are structured into two principal divisions: Life Science Chemicals, and Performance and Other Chemicals. The company's extensive product range features numerous aromatic compounds, such as various cresol and anisole derivatives (e.g., cresol mixture, anisyl acetate), phenyl acetic acid, ambrettolide, and anethole. Additionally, Atul supplies essential bulk chemicals and intermediates, including caustic soda lye, hydrochloric and sulphuric acids, hydrogen gas, liquid chlorine, and various resorcinol-based products. Expanding its portfolio, the firm also delivers colors, agrochemical solutions (comprising fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and their intermediates), pharmaceutical ingredients (active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), amino acid derivatives, API intermediates, and phosgene derivatives), and a full suite of epoxy resins, curing agents, and specialized formulations. Beyond chemical manufacturing, Atul Ltd is involved in the cultivation of tissue culture-raised oil and date palm plants. It also operates retail divisions focused on crop protection products and polymers. The company caters to a vast and diverse client base spanning numerous industries. These include, but are not limited to, agriculture, automotive, construction, cosmetics, defense, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, personal care, and renewable energy sectors like wind energy. Atul Ltd was founded in 1947 and its corporate headquarters are situated in Valsad, India.
