Headquartered in Musashino, Japan, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, established in 1915 (and known as Yokogawa Electric Works Ltd. until its name change in 1986), operates as a global supplier of industrial automation and test & measurement solutions. Its extensive geographical footprint covers Japan, Southeast Asia, the broader Far East, China, India, Europe, Russia, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and both Central and South America. The company's business activities are structured into three primary segments. The Industrial Automation and Control division furnishes essential field instrumentation like flow meters, differential pressure/pressure transmitters, and process analyzers, in addition to control systems, programmable logic controllers, and a variety of software products and associated services. The Test and Measurement division provides advanced equipment such as waveform and optical communications measuring instruments, signal generators, precise electric voltage, current, and power measuring devices, LCD drivers, and confocal scanners. Finally, the Aviation and Other Businesses segment concentrates on offering specialized instruments for the aerospace industry. Yokogawa's diverse clientele spans numerous sectors, including oil and gas, the LNG supply chain, chemical manufacturing, power generation (conventional and renewable), water and wastewater management, mining and metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper production, iron and steel, and the food and beverage industries.
