Meituan manages a comprehensive online platform that facilitates a diverse range of services. Its operations are organized into three principal segments: Food Delivery; In-store, Hotel & Travel; and New Initiatives and Others. The Food Delivery division enables customers to conveniently order prepared meals from numerous vendors. The New Initiatives and Others division covers sales from its B2B food distribution and Meituan grocery services, alongside an assortment of other ventures such as Meituan Instashopping, community e-commerce, shared bicycles and electric mopeds, and micro-lending facilities. Established in 2003, Meituan is headquartered in Beijing, China. The company rebranded to its current name, Meituan, in October 2020, having previously operated as Meituan Dianping.
