The bank's operations are strategically organized into four principal divisions: Wealth and Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets, and a residual 'Other' segment. For personal customers, the bank offers essential services such as checking and savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, home loans and personal financing, credit cards, alongside a range of insurance, investment, and wealth management advisory services, including consumer lending. Corporate and commercial clients benefit from offerings like business lending, trade and receivables financing, streamlined payments and cash flow management, treasury and foreign exchange services, general and key-person insurance policies, and corporate investment and wealth management. Further extending its portfolio, Hang Seng provides retirement planning, life assurance, investment fund administration, stock brokerage, the development and licensing of financial indices, capital raising and distribution, and asset management services. The bank maintains a significant physical presence, operating approximately 280 service points throughout Hong Kong. Beyond its home market, it has branches in Macau and Singapore, and a representative office in Taipei, Taiwan. Moreover, its subsidiary, Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited, oversees an extensive network of branches in roughly 20 cities across mainland China. Founded in 1933 and headquartered in Central, Hong Kong, Hang Seng Bank Limited functions as a subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited.
