Established in 1968 and headquartered in Espoo, Finland, TietoEVRY Oyj (which was known as Tieto Oyj until its renaming in December 2019) operates as a leading global provider of software and IT services. The company organizes its extensive offerings across six primary business segments. Its Digital Consulting arm furnishes clients with strategic business and technology advice, alongside system integration and ongoing managed application services. The Cloud & Infrastructure division provides a suite of automated solutions, encompassing managed cloud services, cybersecurity, and end-user support, in addition to expert advisory for cloud migration and digital transformation. Industry Software focuses on developing specialized software products crucial for the operations of clients in public and healthcare sectors, welfare services, the forest industry, and the energy and oil & gas sectors. Through its Financial Services Solutions segment, TietoEVRY delivers real-time platforms for payments, card processing, wealth management, and credit services, supplemented by business process outsourcing (BPO). The Product Development Services segment is dedicated to software research and development, with a strong emphasis on the telecommunications sector, while also venturing into new domains like automotive, serving communications infrastructure providers, consumer electronics companies, and semiconductor manufacturers. TietoEVRY maintains a significant operational presence across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Austria, the Baltic countries, Russia, and numerous other international markets.
