Trans-Lux Corporation is a specialist in developing and manufacturing sophisticated digital display solutions, alongside conventional fixed-digit scoreboards. The company operates through two distinct segments: Digital Product Sales, and Digital Product Lease and Maintenance. The Digital Product Sales division is responsible for marketing and distributing digital signage products for both indoor and outdoor use. Complementarily, the Digital Product Lease and Maintenance segment focuses on leasing and maintaining these same indoor and outdoor digital display offerings. Trans-Lux provides cutting-edge LED display systems to a diverse range of clients and industries. These include prominent sports venues such as arenas and stadiums; various financial institutions, encompassing brokerage firms, banks, energy companies, insurers, and mutual funds; academic institutions; outdoor advertising agencies; corporate and government communication hubs; retail businesses; gaming establishments like casinos and racetracks; transportation facilities including airports, train stations, and bus terminals; movie theaters; and health maintenance organizations, among many other applications. Beyond its core display systems, the company also offers TLVision, a suite of full-color video products capable of presenting both alphanumeric data and high-definition video. This offering is supported by comprehensive turnkey installation and ongoing support services. Trans-Lux employs a multi-channel approach to market its products globally. In the United States and Canada, sales are handled by direct representatives and an established network of independent dealers and distributors. For other international markets, including the remainder of North America, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa, the Far East, and Australia, the company relies on its internal sales teams and a network of independent distributors. Trans-Lux Corporation was founded in 1920 and its principal offices are located in New York, New York.
