Scope Industries

Scope Industries is a U.S.-based company primarily engaged in waste material recycling. It manages facilities dedicated to collecting and transforming discarded bakery products into nutritional supplements for animal consumption. These supplements are supplied to a diverse clientele, including poultry farms, dairy operations, feedlots, and pet food manufacturers. Furthermore, Scope Industries operates a specialized plant in Vernon, California, where particular types of bakery waste are processed into edible breadcrumbs destined for human use. Its customers for this product include producers of prepackaged foods and restaurant suppliers. Founded in 1938, the company maintains its principal executive offices in Santa Monica, California. In a significant corporate transaction, Scope Industries divested its wholly-owned subsidiary, Scope Beauty Enterprises, Inc., which operated as Marinello Schools of Beauty, to B & H Education, Inc. in March 2004.
