PreVu, Inc. was a retail company that specialized in selling leather goods, including outerwear, apparel, and various accessories for men and women. Its product range featured items such as leather jackets and handbags, distributed through a network of stores situated in malls and airports across the United States. The company utilized several brand names and trademarks for its merchandise, including M. Julian, Maxima, Pelle Studio, Wilsons The Leather Experts, Tannery West, Georgetown Leather Design, The Wallet Works, and Vintage by Wilsons The Leather Experts. Founded in 1996 and based in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, the company was formerly known as Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. before officially changing its name to PreVu, Inc. in July 2008. Tragically, on September 12, 2008, PreVu, Inc. filed for Chapter 7 liquidation through a voluntary petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, and it remains under joint administration with River Hills PreVu, Inc.
