MinebeaMitsumi Inc., established in 1951 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a global enterprise that manufactures and supplies a broad spectrum of precision machined components alongside electronic devices and parts. The company, which was rebranded from Minebea Co., Ltd. in January 2017, maintains a significant international presence, operating across Japan, Europe, the United States, and various Asian markets. Its operations are strategically divided into four primary divisions: Machined Components, Electronic Devices and Components, MITSUMI Business, and the U-Shin business segment. The company's extensive product portfolio includes a wide variety of bearing products, ranging from minute and small-sized ball bearings to specialized rod end, spherical, and roller bearings. This also covers precision-machined parts for aircraft and medium-to-large-sized ball bearings designed for aerospace applications. Complementing these are bearing-related items like pivot assemblies and sophisticated mechanical assemblies, as well as fasteners, custom defense components, and electromagnetic clutches and brakes. MinebeaMitsumi further produces a diverse array of rotary components, such as fan motors, various types of blowers (including high-pressure models), hybrid, PM, and small-diameter/high-speed PM stepping motors, brush DC motors, small and power brushless motors, polygon mirror scanner motors, HDD spindle motors, rotation angle sensors, fan units, and FDB motors. Additionally, the company supplies lighting devices for LCD screens, resonant devices, and a comprehensive suite of measuring components. These include strain gauges, force sensors, load cells, pressure gauges, torque transducers, vector sensors, digital indicators, and tensile and compression testing machines. Its offerings also encompass a range of sensors and related products, coils, switches, connectors, frequency and optical devices, power supply units, industrial machinery components, home security systems, automotive parts, and semiconductors. These critical components are integral to a multitude of applications, serving industries such as personal computing and peripherals, information and telecommunications, household appliances, the automotive sector, and aircraft manufacturing.
