Profile

Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHULF) is a comprehensive port and transport logistics provider, with operations spanning Germany, the wider European Union, and international markets. Its business is strategically segmented into four key areas: Container, Intermodal, Logistics, and Real Estate. The company oversees three container terminals in its home city of Hamburg, complemented by additional facilities in Odessa, Ukraine; Tallinn, Estonia; and Trieste, Italy. Furthermore, HHULF delivers intermodal transportation services, forging connections between ports situated on the North and Baltic Seas, extending from the Northern Adriatic to its inland regions, and encompassing various internal terminals. Beyond these core offerings, the firm supplies specialized handling, digital solutions, and comprehensive advisory and management support. It also engages in cutting-edge fields like process automation, additive manufacturing, and airborne logistics. A significant portion of its portfolio involves the development, leasing, and administration of real estate assets. Established in 1885, its corporate headquarters are located in Hamburg, Germany. Formerly identified as Hamburger Hafen- und Lagerhaus-AG, the company officially adopted its present name, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik Aktiengesellschaft, in 2005. HHULF operates as a subsidiary of HGV Hamburger Gesellschaft für Vermögens- und Beteiligungsmanagement mbH.
