NewMed Energy - Limited Partnership, headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, is an energy company primarily involved in the upstream oil and gas sector. Its operations encompass the exploration, development, extraction, and marketing of crude oil, natural gas, and condensate across Israel and Cyprus. The partnership possesses significant interests in several key energy projects. These include the substantial Leviathan project, spanning 500 km² off the coast of Haifa, and the Yam Tethys project, also covering 500 km² situated west of Ashkelon. In Cyprus, it holds a stake in Block 12, an area approximately 386 km² in size. Additionally, its Israeli portfolio features the New Ofek license (around 344 km²) and the New Yahel license (397.5 km²), alongside the Tanin and Karish leases, which together cover about 500 km² west of Nahariya. NewMed Energy serves a diverse clientele, including independent power producers and various industrial companies. The general partner overseeing its operations is NewMed Energy Management Ltd. Originally established in 1993, the entity was formerly known as Delek Drilling - Limited Partnership before adopting its current name in February 2022. It functions as a subsidiary of Delek Energy Systems Ltd.
