Critical Solutions, Inc. (CSLI), operating through its subsidiary White Door, Inc., was involved in the production and sale of alternative energy systems across the United States. These innovative systems harnessed solar panels, wind turbines, and hydrogen fuel cells to provide power for physical security and communication infrastructure, especially in locations where traditional electricity sources were either inaccessible or prohibitively expensive. Notable applications of their products included defense contractors utilizing them to secure nuclear facilities, the Federal Bureau of Prisons employing them for emergency response teams, and U.S. airports relying on them for critical communication and ground surveillance. The company, established in 2008, had its main office situated in Ashburn, Virginia. However, on June 4, 2013, an involuntary petition seeking Chapter 7 liquidation was submitted against Critical Solutions, Inc. to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The court subsequently approved this petition on July 1, 2013, and the company is now in the process of liquidation.
