Profile

Crawford United Corporation (CRAWA) is a global provider of specialized industrial products and solutions, serving markets across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, and internationally. The company operates through two distinct segments. Its Commercial Air Handling Equipment division specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing large-scale, custom air handling systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial environments. These solutions, marketed under the FactoryBilt and SiteBilt brands, cater to critical sectors such as healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals, and industrial manufacturing. The Industrial and Transportation Products segment focuses on producing flexible interlocking metal hoses, primarily for heavy-duty truck manufacturers and aftermarket suppliers, as well as for the agricultural, industrial, and petrochemical markets. This segment also distributes silicone and hydraulic hoses to agricultural and general industrial sectors. Beyond these core offerings, Crawford United delivers a wide array of specialized services, including engineering, machining, grinding, welding, brazing, heat treatment, and assembly. It supplies rubber and plastic marine hoses for the recreational boating industry and provides sophisticated manufacturing solutions—such as CNC machining, anodizing, electro-polishing, and laser marking—to the defense, aerospace, and medical device industries. The company is also a significant supplier of hydraulic hoses, air tank assemblies, and related components for makers of firefighting and other emergency vehicles. Moreover, it furnishes highly engineered forgings for aerospace, industrial gas turbine, medical prosthetics, alternative energy, petrochemical, and defense applications. Additionally, Crawford United is engaged in developing and commercializing technology applications for marketing and data analytics. Founded in 1910 and headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, the corporation was previously named Hickok Incorporated, before rebranding as Crawford United Corporation in May 2019.
