Profile

Compagnie de Saint-Gobain S.A., a company founded in 1665 and headquartered in Courbevoie, France, develops, produces, and supplies innovative materials and solutions globally, all aimed at enhancing well-being. Its global operations are structured into five key divisions: High Performance Solutions; Northern Europe; Southern Europe – Middle East & Africa; Americas; and Asia-Pacific. The firm's extensive portfolio includes glazing systems for architectural and automotive applications, marketed under names such as Saint-Gobain, GlassSolutions, Vetrotech, and SageGlass. They also furnish plaster-based goods essential for building and renovation projects, notably Placo, Rigips, and Gyproc. Ceiling solutions are a core part of their offering, featuring brands like Ecophon, CertainTeed, Eurocoustic, Sonex, and Vinh Tuong. For thermal and acoustic insulation across diverse sectors – from construction and automotive components to household appliances and photovoltaic systems – they provide solutions via Isover, CertainTeed, and Izocam. Their range also covers mortars and specialized building chemicals (Weber), alongside exterior product lines encompassing asphalt and composite shingles, roll roofing systems, and associated accessories. PAM brand pipes are supplied, in addition to the development, import, and distribution of instant adhesives, sealants, and silicones. Further expanding its product ecosystem, the company offers integrated interior and exterior building systems, including cladding, floor coverings, façades, lightweight structures, waterproofing, and comprehensive roofing solutions. This extends to pre-assembly and prefabrication services, alongside high-performance materials, architectural glass, plasterboard, and interior glass products. Beyond manufacturing, Saint-Gobain acts as a key distributor of heavy building materials, plumbing, heating, and sanitary equipment, timber and panel products, civil engineering supplies, ceramic tiles, and various site tools and equipment.
