Operating through its subsidiaries, Alaska Power & Telephone Company (APTL) provides essential, regulated electricity and telecommunication services to rural communities across Alaska. The company's operations are divided into two main segments: Electric and Telecommunications. The Electric segment is responsible for retail and wholesale power delivery, generating electricity from both hydroelectric and diesel facilities.
