Profile

AirBoss of America Corp. is a company engaged in the creation, production, and global distribution of rubber-centric solutions. Serving Canadian, U.S., and international markets, its offerings cater to a wide array of sectors, including automotive, heavy commercial transport, construction, infrastructure, oil and gas, and defense. The company's operations are structured into three key divisions: 1. AirBoss Defense Group: This segment delivers advanced protective equipment for military personnel, law enforcement agencies, healthcare providers, industrial clients, and first responders. Its comprehensive portfolio encompasses personal respiratory devices, rapid-deployment negative pressure isolation shelters, specialized cold-weather combat footwear, and sophisticated chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRN) protective gear. 2. Rubber Solutions: Specializing in custom formulations, this division provides a variety of rubber compounds, calendered and extruded materials, and diverse molded products. These find extensive application across sectors such as automotive, heavy industry, rollers, conveyor systems, defense, construction and infrastructure projects, mining, transportation, and the oil and gas industry. 3. Engineered Products: This division focuses on designing, engineering, and fabricating rubber, synthetic rubber, and robust rubber-to-metal bonded components. These products are instrumental in suppressing unwanted vibration and noise within automotive (including electric vehicles), heavy truck and off-highway, industrial, and defense applications. Formerly known as IATCO Industries Inc., the company officially adopted the name AirBoss of America Corp. in April 1994. Its headquarters are located in Newmarket, Canada.
